The multi-disciplinary approach at Birk Grove provides research-based techniques which are used through all aspects of medical and wellness treatments. The key to this innovative program is the customized, client-focused treatment by a team of clinicians with specialized training in the care of fibromyalgia.
Fibromyalgia patients commonly describe a constellation of symptoms which encompass the mind, body and soul. Any attempt to address only a portion of these symptoms will allow the condition to be sustained, and only partial or slow progress to be made.
By combining and coordinating all aspects of the FM patient’s care at Birk Grove, a synergistic effect can be realized utilizing a team approach with the various disciplines interacting and modifying the overall program as warranted by the patient’ progress or limitations.
